It’s widely regarded across the NFL that Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill is the fastest player in the league. All you have to do is watch him blow past defenders on a regular basis.
Buccaneers wide receiver Scotty Miller, though, would disagree with that assessment.
According to Miller, if facing a race between him and Hill (or anyone!, he would bet on himself to beat the Chiefs receiver. Miller, who didn’t participate in the NFL scouting combine, reportedly ran a 4.30 40-yard dash at his Bowling Green pro day. Hill has also been clocked at 4.29 seconds in the 40. So, it’s close!
Well, Hill seemed to take notice to the comments on The Dan Patrick Show, and he took the high road on Miller’s claim.
Hell of a player good for him ☺️ https://t.co/CWNNdOoQiV

“Good for him,” Hill said with a smiley emoji.
Later in the day, Patrick Mahomes joined the show, and he too didn’t touch that piece of bulletin-board material.
They’ll each have a chance to put that speed to the test in Super Bowl LV.
