Over 800 hectares of food crops damaged by livestock in northern Tanzania|News Ghana

At least 840 hectares of food crops have actually been damaged after animals keepers grazed their livestock in farms in Tanzania’s northern district of Moshi in Kilimanjaro area, an authorities stated Wednesday.

Bibiana Massawe, a Mabogini ward councilor on the ticket of the ruling celebration Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM, stated the damage of the farms was most likely to trigger food scarcity to 3,700 citizens in the location.

Massawe stated the animals keepers grazed their animals in the 840 hectares of food crops in 3 towns of Chekereni, Muungano and Maendeleo in Moshi district.
